Aurelius Horatio Greenman came into existence first as a thought, then as a drawing, and finally as a walking, talking, and magical being as he willed himself to step out of the drawing fully formed. Always magical, often humorous, and committed to bringing Magic into the world of the mundane, he set up residence in a small stone and timber cottage he named Peaceful Hollow.

Peaceful Hollow was located at the foot of a mountain, in a mossy glade, located in the forest right at the divide between Faerie and Mundania. There he lived for many years, studying and honing his magic, until he felt ready to venture forth, expanding his knowledge of the world around him. 

He wandered the realms, gathering knowledge and apprentices, teaching all that he knew for decades. Eventually, it occurred to him that rather than seeking out individuals who possessed that spark of imagination and magic, it would be more efficient to allow such gifted individuals to come to him. To that end, he enlarged Peaceful Hollow and transported it to sit atop the second cloud to the right, and thus began to recruit students to attend the Peaceful Hollow Preparatory School For The Magically Inclined.
